Victoria at play
Victoria enjoys baking delicious treats, sewing her own clothes, and completing challenging puzzle. She loves trying new food and is the woman to go to for the best ice cream and coffee shops in the area! Outside of work, she is generally spending time with friends and family, traveling, and training/ playing with her dog, Zero. Victoria is very passionate about giving back to the community and participates in multiple volunteer programs. A couple of her favorite charities include Habitat for Humanity and GIVE.
“My passion for structural engineering started after reading the quote, ‘If a doctor doesn’t do their job well, one person dies. If a structural engineer doesn’t do their job well, hundreds of people could die’.”
Victoria truly understands the importance of designing a society’s infrastructure and buildings to ensure the safety of its people. On projects, she appreciates the combined effort of so many people, turning an idea into reality, and sense of accomplishment knowing that the property can be enjoyed by multiple people for years to come.
She came to PARADIGM looking for something that was more exciting and not so repetitive, which was exactly what she got! Each project is unique in its own way and presents its own set of challenges. In addition, she appreciates their family-oriented culture, working alongside great mentors, and ability to advance quickly in her career.
