Ford Research and Innovation Center

The FORD Research and Innovation Center consists of two separate 75,000 gsf buildings with XL Construction serving as the general contractor in a design-build partnership with Harley Ellis Deveraux (HED) Architects to complete the exterior and interior build out. PARADIGM’s scope of work included a 5,000 gsf design showroom and auditorium, 1,500 gsf audio lab in the parking garage, custom vehicle entry to the auditorium showroom, extensive site upgrades for code compliant access, 100,000 gsf of raised access floor system, the structural retrofit of six new staircases, the installation of new MEPF systems, the installation of new elevators, custom research rooms, conference rooms, private offices, open collaboration areas, and amenity spaces. PARADIGM also provided the overall structural design for the tenant improvement requirements, including new stairs, the showroom, ramps, audio labs, and the required support for new tenant specified mechanical units. The FORD Research and Innovation Center is a LEED Gold certified building and was awarded the 2018 Western Pacific Region Design-Build Award from the Design-Build Institute of America
