Within the field of structural engineering, Alex enjoys bringing aesthetics to life and the problem-solving required to accomplish them. With past experience in high-end residential and retail tenant improvement, he enjoys focusing on the details and how best to accomplish the architect’s vision. He ultimately chose PARADIGM for two reasons: for the ability to work on interesting, diverse projects and to join a team that emphasizes mentorship and camaraderie.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys walks around Chicago, seeing new parts of the city he’s never been to before. These walks lend well to his newfound hobby of photography, and his not-so-new hobbies of finding new restaurants, cafes, bars, or patios to enjoy all of the above. When he’s not outside, he enjoys cooking, attending live music events in many forms, playing board games, and spending time with his three cats.
