KIMBERLY at play

Kimberly likes to travel, cook and eat. She is hoping to either go island hopping in the Pacific or travel to New Zealand and Australia in the next year. She enjoys watching and playing sports and is a huge fan of the San Jose Sharks, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco 49ers. Kimberly loves to play basketball and flag football, rock climb, snowboard and ski. She proclaims to hate running, but has a weird abundance of half marathons! You will also find Kimberly enjoying a good pint of beer, going on adventures with friends and family, and taking a lot of pictures along the way. Stay tuned!

Kimberly Ota, S.E.

senior Project engineer

"In high school, I knew instantaneously that I wanted to be in the design or architecture profession. After attending a summer architecture program, I knew the abstract concepts of architecture was not where I wanted to be, but I still had the desire to be apart of the design of buildings. After I attended a program on structural engineering, I fell in love with the idea of becoming a structural engineer."

Kimberly came to work with PARADIGM as she sought a firm with a diverse portfolio of projects. She wanted a change of pace from the residential design world. Now that she is here, she is excited to expand her design arsenal to incorporate a variety of materials, learn from the very knowledgeable senior staff, and have the opportunity to work in an iconic city like San Francisco.
