Staff Engineer

Our firm’s relatively small size allows staff engineers to experience an unprecedented level of involvement with our Principal and Senior Associates. Just as our senior engineers are thought leaders in the industry, our developing engineers are becoming leaders for the engineering community of tomorrow.

General Areas of Responsibility

Job duties will include structural analysis, computer modeling, calculations, structural design and preparation of construction documents. Staff engineers will generally work as part of a design team under the supervision of a project engineer or principal.

Qualifications

• BS in civil/structural engineering.
• MS and EIT preferred.
• Individual should have 2+ years of increasing engineering experience in seismic analysis and design as well as experience in preparing plans and detail drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Familiarity with AutoCad and software such as MS Word, Excel, Risa, Ram, Enercalc, and ETABS or SAP is helpful.
